I Am On My Way
I am on my way . . . with a little help from my friends. I took all the ideas everyone had for me and started with step one: get rid of it all. It was all I could do not to look at each paper and each trinket and sit there in a state of nostalgia and reminiscing (see why I never get anything done? I'm too sentimental). That part is why I think this method is going to work for me--put it all in a tub to be sorted through as time allows. When there is time to sort, I can haul the basket out; when it is time to move on to lunch and other activities with the boys I can shove it in a closet to be dealt with later. And that way everything that I have sorted has actually been put away. How I usually try to tackle my desk is to put everything in piles (usually on the floor) never having time to complete the task and having to resort to stash
